Medical Update
As this blog is supposed to be about how my multiple myeloma is treating me, I really should focus on that today. Don't worry if you can't read the lab report - anything in pale grey is fine, anything in bold black isn't. Those that are out of whack aren't much out and it's good to see my white blood cells and Neutrophils going up.So physically, I am knackered though well fed and watered through the day by Nonie (no, those green bottles in the picture didn't have water in). I hurt in a number of places, most of which I can probably put down to old age but, just to get it documented :
- Right hip joint hurts a bit all the time
- Right big toe (which I broke when I was 17) also hurts mildly
- Left knee hurts when I wake up but stops if I roll over or get up
- I tend to get pins and needles in my left thumb
- My left thumb hurts quite badly but I suspect that has something to do with my belting it with a hammer this afternoon.
Tomorrow is a day off. Mack & Murphy have borne the burden of being banished from the building site for long enough. Then we hope to finish the job on Monday. I plan to spend tomorrow in or near the sea - high tide is at 4 pm so it'll be Red Beach in the morning and Jacobs Ladder in the afternoon. And then I really must finish my song for Synesthesia - I have a great tune if I say so myself, a slightly jazzy riff and some words that are more subtle than usual. Alas, the one doesn't fit the other but I've never let that stop me before.
It's 9 o'clock and my eyes do not wish to stay open - I must obey.
